Genefluence is a personalised skincare system combining Skin DNA insights, five complementary MIA+ serums and AI-powered Matching. It helps you understand your skin, personalise your daily serum routine and find people with skin like yours.

MIA+ is Genefluence’s personalised serum system. Everyone starts with the same five complementary serums. Your Skin DNA results and lifestyle information are used to create your personal serum code, which tells you how many drops of each serum to use each day.

MIA+ is for everyone. Our skincare system adapts to the individual rather than being designed around gender, making it suitable for all adults seeking a skincare routine tailored to their unique biology.

After activating your test, complete the cheek swab at home and return it using the supplied packaging. We analyse selected skincare-related genetic markers and combine the results with the lifestyle information you provide. The MIA+ app then creates your personal serum code and guides you on how many drops of each serum to use.

The test analyses selected genetic markers associated with skincare-related traits, including hydration, brightness, antioxidant defence, skin barrier support and structural ageing. It is designed specifically for skincare personalisation and does not test for ancestry or diagnose medical conditions.

No. We test only the selected genetic markers needed for your Genefluence experience. We do not perform whole-genome sequencing or create a complete genetic profile.

Most customers receive their results within one week of our laboratory receiving their sample.

The Genefluence App is where you activate your test, access your Skin DNA insights, receive your personal serum code and use Matching to find people with skin like yours.

You can use the five MIA+ serums without the App, but you will need it to activate your test and access your personalised serum code, Skin DNA insights and Matching features.

Your personal serum code is created by combining your Skin DNA results with the lifestyle information you provide. It tells you how many drops of each of the five MIA+ serums to use in your daily routine.

Your DNA does not change, so you do not need to repeat the test. However, your lifestyle and skincare needs may change. Updating your information in the App allows your personalised guidance to remain relevant to you.

Yes. You can continue using the cleanser, toner, moisturiser and SPF products that already work for you. MIA+ becomes the personalised serum step at the heart of your routine, fitting alongside your other skincare products.

The MIA+ serums have been developed with skin compatibility in mind. As with any new skincare product, review the full ingredient list and carry out a patch test before first use, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known ingredient allergies. Stop using the product if irritation occurs.

Matching is an optional Genefluence feature that helps you find people with skin like yours. It allows you to explore similarities in selected skin traits, personalised serum routines and product experiences with other participating users.

Genefluence compares interpreted skincare-related traits from your selected genetic markers, together with relevant profile information, to identify areas of similarity. AI-powered Matching then helps present the people and profiles that may align most closely with yours.

No. Matching uses interpreted skincare-related traits rather than displaying or sharing your raw genetic information with other users.

Yes. Matching is optional. You choose whether to participate and control how your profile contributes to the Matching experience.

Once testing is complete, your physical DNA sample and test cartridge are destroyed. Your Genefluence experience is built around interpreted skincare traits rather than retaining your physical sample.

Access is limited to authorised Genefluence personnel and trusted service providers who need the information to provide and support the service. We use encryption, access controls and other safeguards designed to protect your information.

No. Genefluence does not sell identifiable or anonymised genetic information.

Yes. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information through the App or by contacting us.

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. We plan to introduce Genefluence in other markets soon.

Orders are usually delivered within 2–3 working days after dispatch.

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Complete your cheek swab by following the instructions provided, place it in the supplied return packaging and post it back to our laboratory. Your unique activation barcode links the returned sample securely to your Genefluence account.

Eligible unopened and unused products can be returned within 14 days of delivery. The tamper-evident seal on a MIA+ Serum Discovery Set must remain completely intact. Once the seal has been broken or removed, we cannot accept a change-of-mind return unless the product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
