From your sample to your personal Drops Code.
When your sample arrives at our laboratory, it is prepared and transferred to a single-use DNA cartridge identified by a unique barcode. The cartridge analyses only the selected skin-related genetic markers used by Genefluence.
The results are then used to create your personal MIA+ Drops Code. Once testing is complete, your physical sample and test cartridge are securely destroyed.

Foundational research into DNA-based skincare has explored how genetic differences can influence visible skin ageing patterns, and how genotype-guided formulations may offer a more targeted approach than non-guided product selection.
Genotype-guided approach
Predecessor clinical research compared genotype-guided skincare with non-guided product selection, demonstrating that personalisation could offer a more targeted approach to visible skin ageing.
Dermatologist assessed
Participants were assessed using facial photography and dermatologist review over the study period, including visible markers such as wrinkles and pigmentation.
